Master builder scoops award

A building company that has recently moved to Rusper was named as one of the winners of a regional Master Builder of the Year Award from the Federation of Master Builders this month.

RB Projects, formerly based in Horley, took the award for Small Renovation Projects in the Southern Counties prize.

Nominations must come from a satisfied client, and builders are judged on their technical ability together with their customer service skills.

RB Projects was commended for its work building an extension on a property in Surrey, and will receive the award in London on March 20.

The firm was chosen by the region’s judges to win the Small Renovation Project prize and will now go through to compete in the national finals.

Ron Willers, FMB services director for the Southern Counties, said: “The Master Builder of the Year Awards give clients the opportunity to celebrate a job well done and to thank their builder.

“The standard of entries this year is amongst the highest we have seen and reflects the expertise, attention to detail and professionalism of the region’s builders. What really stands out is the extent to which our regional winners were prepared to go beyond the call of duty to build a good working relationship with their clients to achieve the best possible result for them.

“RB Projects should feel justly proud of their achievement in winning the Small Renovation Projects in the Southern Counties prize, and we wish them success in the national competition.”
