No consideration from motorists

Many thanks to all the people who took the time and trouble to clear the snow and ice from the pavements in the recent icy weather.

Where people were unable to clear the pavements, the safest option was to walk in the road.

What a pity motorists - we’re all right, the roads have been salted - didn’t show some consideration.

It is no fun trying to negotiate the safest route, and to have cars and lorries belting along the only safe place was at times frightening.

And I was even hooted at for not dodging out of the way quickly enough.
