Students from Tanbridge House School in Horsham played host to an Olympian and World Champion Rower on Friday, June 7.
Arts and music celebration at Wisborough Green
A creative fusion is promised for the forthcoming Arts and Music Festival 2013 at Wisborough Green (on A272) this year, as local artists of various mediums gather together at the parish church of St Peter ad Vincula between July 3-7.

The Year 9 Masterchef competition, now in its 22nd year, had over 26 groups enter the competition which took place at Glebelands School to cook a three-course meal for a celebration of their own choice.

LETTER: Horsham magnets
During a recent trip to CERN (the European Laboratory for Particle Physics) in Geneva, my son, a lecturer in accelerator science at Oxford University, noticed that several of the magnets that are used in an experiment that he works on were made by Lintott Engineering in Horsham around 1976. Having worked for Lintott for ten years in the 1960s and again in the mid-1970s, I found this very interesting and thought that other ex-Lintott employees, some of whom would have worked on these very magnets, would also be interested.
