A MOBILE phone giant is planning to erect a 15 metre telephone mast close to a Chichester school.
O2 wants to build the mast on a verge to the south west of North Lodge in Blomfield Drive, around 200 metres from Fordwater School.

The new 2G mast would replace one at Graylingwell Hospital which has to be moved to make way for redevelopment.

The mast would include three shrouded antennas and a small equipment cabinet.

To comment on the plans, write by May 14 to the Director of Environment, East Pallant House, East Pallant, Chichester, PO19 1TY.
