AUSTRALIAN guitarist and songwriter Jeff Lang tries out a new venue for Chichester's Roots Around The World organisation when he plays The Skittle Alley in West Ashling on Friday May 22.
Promoter Mark Ringwood said: "Since the demise of the Barn at The Bull's Head in Fishbourne (turned into accommodation), the organisation has been looking for a venue capable of hosting up to a hundred people in an intimate atmosphere.
"Strangely enough I used this venue quite a few years ago for artists like The Buttermountain Boys and Ashley Hutchings, and although the adjoining pub's had a number of different owners it's still basically in the same condition and we're very much hoping that Jeff's show will be the first of many to come."
