FANS of jazz singer Jacqui Dankworth will get a sneak preview of her next album Back To You when she visits Worthing's Pavilion Theatre on May 29 just before the album's public release next month.
Jacqui, daughter of the legendary Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine, is delighted at the feedback she is getting so far.
"I have written lyrics to some instrumentals that were already written", she says.
"The album is really work that I have done over the last couple of years, new gigs, new songs… I have written half the material, either the lyrics or the whole song, and there are some covers as well."
